BZU Multan Closed For 2 Days Due to Security Concern

Multan: Baha u Din Zakriya University Multan has been closed for 2 days due to security issues. Police has surrounded the whole university and all the girls and boys hostels have been evacuated. Police has started search operation in the university and all the students are directed to go to their homes.

BZU Multan Closed For 2 Days Due to Security Concern

BZU Multan is the largest university of South Punjab and thousands of students from all over the Pakistan study there in all faculties. BZU Multan will restart its educational activities from Monday 1 February 2016. Before this all the schools of Punjab were closed for 1 week due to severe cold wave. Police said that the security of BZU was insufficient and in these 2 days arrangements will be made to ensure the 100 % security of BZU Multan. 6 girls hostels of BZU have been evacuated.

BZU Multan sub campus Lahore has also been closed due to insufficient security arrangements. UET Lahore Kala Shah Kaku campus is also closed for 2 days due to security laps. While in Kasur some colleges and 1 university is closed and fined over insufficient security arrangements.
